In 2019 Rasmus Andresen was one of 40 Green candidates for the European Parliament in Brussels. How do you run an election campaign far away from the top candidates? What drives a young person to go into politics and how does he manage to get his generation excited about politics?
Between panel discussions in schools, the door-to-door election campaign and state parliament sessions, the little moments of preparation remain – whether writing a speech on the floor in his office or ironing his shirts for the big election evening. Despite the busy election campaign program with 3 events or more per day, Rasmus remains calm and manages to update his followers on Instagram before and after each appointment.
